Shadmehr's schedule

Hi everyone,
First of all I'd like to apology everybody for the log gap between my last post here and this one,
Today I'm gonna update this blog with a good news from shadmehr.
He's finally announced his schedule for the concerts through the end of this year,which could be as follows:

December 25,Germany, Koln
December 27,Netherlands, Amsterdam
December 28,England , London

But also his schedule of tour for Iranian year-end which is in 2009 (Eid-e-Norooz):

March 25,UAE, Dubai
March 28,Germany, Oberhausen

Here, shadmehr is quoted as saying about more concerts:
"There might be the possibility of other tours in L.A. or Las Vegas before Iranian-Year-End which will be announced as soon as it's been confirmed.Also other European concerts have been cancelled by myself because i do have more important things to do."

Shadmehr Aghili (born 27 January 1973) is an Iranian musician, singer and songwriter born in Tehran.

Shadmehr's brother, a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war, died when Shadmehr was only a young student(He said that was gossip). Young Shadmehr began studying music with the encouragement of his brother and mother. He learned to play the piano and the violin just before he was 12 years old. The guitar is also an instrument which Shadmehr learned to play in a dexterous manner. After the Iranian Revolution of 1979, he entered a school of arts in Tehran and in a short time showed great intelligence in composing and playing music. As a child Shadmehr was influenced by Persian pop star Siavash Shams and other singers like Andy.
After receiving a music diploma, when pop music was forbidden in Iran, Aghili entered the "music school of television". Around 1995 the first pop music permitted after the revolution was played on official Iranian television. This was dramatic music with Ahmad Shamlou's poetry read by Khashayar Etemadi.
Aghili composed a great deal of music for other singers. Finally, in 1997, his first album was presented, Bahareman ("My spring"), which was a collection of classic and folkloric music played and arranged by Aghili (violin, guitar, piano, keyboard). In the same year his voice was heard in Mabood, his first vocal music, and afterward he continued work that resulted in Mosafer ("The traveler"), his first complete vocal album. In 1999 he created a revolutionary album, Dehati ("The villager"), with rock and roll, 6'n'8 and popular rhythms. However, none of his songs were permitted to be played on public media (i.e. TV). Shadmehr worked hard to get a permission for his Adam o Hava (Adam & Eve), an album that was supposed to be released in 2001. However, not only he did not, but also, he was banned to work as a singer, musician, or to appear on TV shows.
Having left with no better choice, he decided to leave Iran in 2002, in order to continue his music in Canada, away from any restrictions. Khiali Nist ("No Worries"), Adamforoush ("Traitor", 2004) and "Popcorn" are his most recent albums released in Canada and the United States. In addition, Shadmehr acted in two movies, namely, Pare Parvaz (2000) and Shabe Berahneh (2001).
In October 2006, Shadmehr entered the United States to perform a U.S. tour with his first concert date scheduled for November 17, 2006 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. Shadmehr Aghili is now living with his wife, 'Mia Mesa, in Los Angeles, California. Rage Khaab(2005) relesed in Iran.He is the first Iranian who entered Mandolin in Iranian musics in (Mashkook) and (Yekari kon) singles in Sabab album.

Shadmehr decided to follow in the footsteps of Radiohead and put his new music on the internet himself. Since people have been downloading unauthorized music anyway on the internet since the release of his music videos, he decided he might as well make the music available on iTunes, Rhapsody, and Amazon.com. Therefore, if you'd like to get the original and full quality version of his songs-you can purchase them at the approved vendors named above. The hard copy album is not available in stores yet, but will be soon. Unless he changes his mind. Sometimes, the state of the music business can be a little disheartening with all the free downloading and CD duplication going on these days. Anyways, check it out. We'll be adding more music when we get around to it.

Shadmehr's marriage with mia

Hi there! About shadmehr’s marriage and the answer to this and tens of similar questions in which I received many mails, I just can say one thing that apparently it is true and shadmehr has married with his dancer and now the reason for that from many people’s point of view is that he wanted to be America’s resident and as they say he’s not fallen in love, but now given the existence of a web-log and its internal components we’re badly in doubt and we don’t know which one exactly to believe!!
What’s obvious is that this marriage has happened but what has been the logic behind it, and that is there any kind of firm love in this marriage and many more questions which we can’t give any obvious comment on that! We don’t have any information towards this and so we can’t exactly say the reason behind this decision by shadmehr! Of course we all know that this is shadmehr’s private life and even if we had any information about his marriage we couldn’t do anything, and if now we’re speculating it we do have our own reasons! Because we got tons of requests about that and people were asking what’s the story behind this! (Believe me or not, during one single day I received some 25 E-mails asking: has he ever married? If so who’s his wife? Why has he married to a Christian woman? Or even why he’s married to a dancer? Etc…)
So according to this I saw better to answer to all above questions! Though not on behalf of shadmehr…

Look friends, whatever the reason for his marriage, it doesn’t have anything to do with us! And that when you say why did he turn his back to iran and or he escaped from iran for those reasons it doesn't relate to us,or i better say we ain't the ones to give the answer to that ,because he'd bring up his own (convincing) reasons! And I have to say something right now that in foreign countries it’s not important that what your lovers’ occupation is! (At least that’s how it looks!) Apparently it seems like what matters the most to them is what they have in common, now whether with a dancer or a porn star! What seems confidently true is that he’s surely had his own reasons for this marriage! One of our friends has written that he hadn’t had the right to marry with her, why? B/c shadmehr is the idol for our youth generation!! Yes, I do agree. But nobody can do anything in this case and everyone has the right to decide their own things! We don’t have the right to interfere in his private life and what we can do is just to give our opinions yet in a polite way! Indeed that’s only for ourselves because as it seems shadmehr doesn’t have any time to consider his fans! I just hope for shadmehr, as a popular artist, to be the same person as he was before flying to west!
But apparently his treatment shows the other way, yas and boghz what's the similarities between the two?

of course shadmehr has the right to upgrade his mindset, but as much as it fits him and of course more importantly for shadmehr is the attendance to his fans' opinions!
